Description

This is a resplendent åkdyna from the Torna area. It’s marked BAD, ÅR DEN SEPTEMBER 1833. The original cushion hasn’t been available for taking this pattern, the colors are copied from a colorized photograph and yarn samples from the original. A number of the stitches are difficult to discern from the photograph, these are split stitch and stem stitch. On the pattern it’s marked as split stitch in a number of places but you can choose to sew stem stitch.

The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle.

Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop.
