The folk history of this \u00e5kdyna says that it depicts the king and queen on their way to a \u201cbrydegille\u201d (scutching bee) with the wooden scutching knife in hand. The embroiderer probably modeled her work after a catchpenny print with motifs of the Roman emperor and empress. \u00c5kdynor with the same motif are in the collections of the Vemmenh\u00f6g Local Historical Society and Malm\u00f6 Museum. This one is dated to 1810. The fabric is dark brown. Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, stem stitch, long and short stitch, and French knots. The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle.
