Description
The valknut is one of the oldest motifs. It exists in a number of variations and combinations with other motifs. This jynne is part of a coverlet, dated 1684, that is in the collections at the National Museum and comes from Oxie/Skytt.
The materials package includes: specialized tvistsöm embroidery ground in cotton, wool yarn, paper pattern, stitch description, color image, and needle. Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop.
