Description
The original embroidery is at the Trelleborg Museum (inv nr TM 2006:96) and comes from a homestead in Fjärdingslöv, Skytt area. It’s a free and naive embroidery, marked KCD ÅR 1831. The fabric is black. Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, stem stitch, and long and short stitch.
The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle. Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop. Yarn for the fringe and yarn tassels is not included, we suggest you use leftover yarn or order separately from us.
