Description
This cushion has probably been used with the narrow end-of-table bench, where the lord of the manor sat. The shape is uncommon in Skåne, but can be found in Denmark. The original is marked ANO LOS A OD 1820 and is edged with fringe. The original is in the Hemslöjden i Skåne archive.
Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, stem stitch, French knots, long-and-short stitch, cross stitch, herringbone stitch, and latticework.
The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle.
Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop. Yarn for the fringe is not included, we suggest you use leftover yarn or order yarn separately from our shop.
