Description
The original jynne is marked KND I BOARP Ao 29 IUNIUS 1795. Boarp refers to a farmstead east of Sjöbo in the Färs area. The material for this embroidery was developed based on a photo that is in the Hemslöjden i Skåne archive.
Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, long and short stitch, stem stitch, latticework, and French knots.
The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle. Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop. Yarn for the tassels is not included, we suggest you use leftover yarn or order yarn separately from our shop.
