Detail from an åkdyna from Vemmenhög. This lion, with his bushy mane and man’s face was colloquially referred to as kattamannen.
The materials package contains: wool yarn for the weft and a paper pattern. Warp yarn is not included but can be ordered from our shop. We recommend linen 20/3 for Scanian tapestry. Wool for the backing and down pillow can also be ordered from our shop.
