Description
This cushion won first prize in the Kulturen Embroidery Contest in 2003, which had the theme Love, Power, Sisterhood. It was designed by Eva Edenby from Helsingborg, who works with graphic design. It’s an excellent example of new composition grounded in tradition.
Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, latticework, long stitches, split stitch, and French knots.
The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle.
