Description

  • Hanna was one of six daughters to the innkeeper in Everlöv, Torna. They are all known to have been skilled with textiles, and to have created a number of exquisite embroideries and weavings at the end of the 18th century. This jynne with its happy deer, peonies, roses, tulips, carnations, and many small flowers is one of these. The fabric is black.

Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, stem stitch, long and short stitch, and French knots.

The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle. Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop. Yarn for the fringe is not included, we suggest you use leftover yarn or order yarn separately from our shop.
