Fågelyra

Description

The pattern on this jynne suggests that it comes from eastern Skåne, with plenty of flowers and a dainty structure. Reconstruction of stitches and colors has followed a color plate from the Hemslöjden i Skåne archive. The fabric is black.

Embroidered using long and short stitch, one-sided satin stitch, stem stitch, and French knots.

The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle. Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop. Yarn for the tassels is not included, we suggest you use leftover yarn or order yarn separately from our shop.
