Description
Description This embroidery is a reworking of an åkdyna from Vemmenhög. The original cushion was 50 x 95 cm, and marked AO 1805 SAD. The original has colorful fabric tassels at the corners, and the backing is red. The motif is Mary holding Jesus in her arms, with Joseph and the Three Wise Men. The fabric is black.
Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, split stitch, long and short stitch, stem stitch, and French knots.
The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle.
Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop.
