Description

This is a detail from an åkdyna, probably from Torna, marked BID. The unicorn is a fairy-tale animal that was a favorite motif to weave. It’s on gobelin tapestries from as early as the 16th century.

The materials package contains: wool yarn for the weft and a paper pattern. Warp yarn is not included but can be ordered from our shop. We recommend linen 20/3 for Scanian tapestry. Wool for the backing and down pillow can also be ordered from our shop.
