Description
Animals standing or lying in front of trees are common in international gobelin tapestry weaving. The motif is very old. This lion is drawn in the same way as the lion framed by a thick laurel wreath, as well as the lions found on the coverlets from Everlöv.
The materials package contains: wool yarn for the weft and a paper pattern. Warp yarn is not included but can be ordered from our shop. We recommend linen 20/3 for Scanian tapestry. Wool for the backing and down pillow can also be ordered from our shop.
