Description
This motif of a man and a women dressed in folk costume in a tight laurel wreath with an angel hovering above them is found on two jynnen. They are marked BID and MID and were probably woven in Torna for two sisters’ betrothals or weddings at the beginning of the 19th century.
The materials package contains: wool yarn for the weft and a paper pattern. Warp yarn is not included but can be ordered from our shop. We recommend linen 20/3 for Scanian tapestry. Wool for the backing and down pillow can also be ordered from our shop.
