Description

The original embroidery is in the collections at Malmö Museum and comes from Torna. It’s marked BAD APS ABD ANO 1796. Probably initials for the bride, groom, and the mother of the bride, who may have been the person who embroidered it for the marriage in 1796.

The materials package includes: specialized tvistsöm embroidery ground in cotton, wool yarn, paper pattern, stitch description, color image, and needle. Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop.

Yarn for the fringe is not included, we suggest you use leftover yarn or order yarn separately from our shop.
