Description
A new pattern with details from an åkdyna from southwestern Skåne, dated 1766, and embroideries from the Gärd and Villand areas. The composition was based on using as many different stitches as possible from the wool embroidery tradition in one project. The perfect project for anyone who wants to learn the stitches from wool embroidery from Skåne! The fabric is dark brown.
Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, long and short stitch, stem stitch, latticework, herringbone, couching, buttonhole wheel, and French knots.
The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle.
Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop. Yarn for the tassels is not included, we suggest you use leftover yarn or order separately from us.
