Description
This åkdyna is tongue-in-cheek, with Adam and Eve fully clothed. The original cushion is in the collections at Helsingborg Museum. The provenance is unknown, but the pattern suggests the areas around Torna, Bara, and Oxie. It is marked 1827 HAD. The fabric is dark brown.
Embroidered using one-sided satin stitch, stem stitch, long and short stitch, couching, latticework, and cross stitch.
The materials package contains: pre-drawn wool fabric, wool yarn, a paper pattern, a color image, stitch descriptions, and a needle.
Fabric for the backing is not included but broadcloth and wadmal can be ordered from our shop. Fabric for the tassels is not included, we suggest you reuse old textiles or order small remnants of broadcloth and wadmal from us.
